Our capsule houses are designed for ease and flexibility in placement, making them an ideal choice for a variety of landscapes and settings. Here's how you can easily set up your capsule house:
Foundation Not Required
Unlike traditional structures, our capsule houses do not require a full foundation. They are equipped with adjustable foot pads that provide stability and adaptability on various terrains. Whether you're placing the capsule on gravel, compacted soil, or a concrete pad, these foot pads ensure the structure remains stable and level without the need for extensive groundwork.
Easy Lifting and Positioning
Positioning the capsule house is straightforward thanks to the built-in lifting lugs. These lugs allow the house to be easily moved and positioned with a crane, ensuring precise placement and secure installation.
Utility Connections
Once positioned, connecting utilities is the next step. Each capsule house comes with an A.O. Smith 60L water heater pre-installed, simplifying your setup. You will need to arrange connections for water, sewer, and electricity. The utilities can connect to public systems or you can use holding tanks, depending on what's available at your location. We provide all necessary designs and measurements post-order to aid in this process.
Final Touches: Stairs Installation
We recognize that each installation site is unique, which is why our capsule houses do not include pre-installed stairs. Instead, we supply construction plans to help you build stairs that are tailored to the terrain and height requirements of your specific site, ensuring durability and compliance.
Once these steps are completed, your capsule house is ready for use. With minimal groundwork and simplified utility hookups, setting up your new home is quicker and less labor-intensive than traditional home constructions, allowing you more time to enjoy your new space.
